Some war veterans in Edgertown, Wisconsin are up in arms. The local high school recently allowed students to recite the pledge in Spanish.
One Vietnam veteran says the pledge should only be recited in English — since this is the United States.
The school is defending the practice saying it’s an annual tradition.
But Mr. Decker believes reciting the pledge in another nation’s language is not only wrong, it’s unpatriotic.

Lets all contenue to be politically correct ,we wouldnt want to offend any one, after all we are americans….why dont we just bend and provide the boot for everyone..no big deal , after all we cant say JESUS, OR marry christmas, nor pray in school, nor use the word homosexual, and other words,,,but anyone can belt out the F'' word and all but have actual sex on the screen and i bit they do…while we sit back and play nice…before long america will no longer be..and IM wondering where are the male leaders..where are our elected officials..oh they are also playing noce while we the americans are getting the boot..
our school recites it in spanish because it is something that we all know and it gets us speaking the language quickly.
i also believe that its not offensive, saying the pledge in a different language allows people speaking every language to pledge to OUR flag. its not an excuse to not learn english
